About me

Hello!

My name is Oliver (they/them) I am a self-taught trans tattoo artist based in Berkeley CA.

I grew up on the east coast and felt the happiest being surrounded by nature. Whenever I created art, I always drew the most inspiration from those moments outside. This upbringing still heavily influences my approach to drawing and creativity, as I am excited to tattoo more natural and organic forms, making our bodies a canvas to further connect us to the world around us.

I began self-teaching machine tattooing at the start of 2024 while still in my undergraduate studies. In July of 2025 I made tattooing my full-time job and couldn’t be more grateful to do this work with all my wonderful clients.

I love to travel and tattoo in other cities around the country. Tell me which city I should visit next!

I find tattooing to be an incredibly powerful and transformative practice, and put this energy to each session. I care very deeply that each person who decides to get a tattoo from me feels that their needs are seen and valued. (If that means moving the stencil 100x then that is what we’ll do!) Consent is at the front of this practice, where we make decisions collaboratively and have time for checking in.

Tattoos can be a form of healing – an act that can fulfill needs for autonomy and artistic expression. I often think of tattoos as representations of what has always been within us, but just need time to settle on our bodily surface. I hope to create intentionality around the tattoos that I do, no matter flash or custom. I am also very excited to do any kind of gender-affirming tattoo, and love working with other trans people in creating designs that feel empowering to their identity.

My Approach to Tattooing

Freehand

Freehand tattoos are designs that we draw together directly on your skin with stencil markers at the start of our appointment. They are a very fun and collaborative process for me, and I highly enjoy creating in this way.

What I do not tattoo:

  • Anime

  • Realism

  • Human faces/figures

  • Cybersigilism

  • Script

When submitting a request for tattoo, I am always excited to hear about what this tattoo means to you or how I can make the experience a good one. I am always open to feedback and want to make sure you leave my chair with a tattoo you love.
